ABOUT ME
Founder
I've always been curious about how people communicate, what gives them confidence and the role our image plays in both. It's something that has fascinated me throughout my career, particularly during my years working in marketing and professional services.
Before establishing The Stylebob in 2020, I spent almost 15 years working in marketing, including within a global professional services firm. That experience gave me a valuable understanding of corporate life, the importance of building relationships and how much we communicate before we've even spoken.
Today, as an internationally accredited image consultant, I work with both men and women, including private clients and senior executives, as well as organisations in Ireland and internationally. My work is as much about understanding people as it is about understanding clothes. Whether someone is navigating a career change, entering a new stage of life or simply has a wardrobe full of clothes but nothing to wear, my approach is always personal, practical and considered.
Alongside my consultancy work, I've developed an international corporate speaking practice, delivering talks and presentations to audiences across 12 countries. My talks explore professional image, personal branding, confidence, the psychology of dressing and the changing relationship we have with our clothes, drawing on both my corporate background and experience with clients.
I'm also a weekly style columnist with the Business Post and a regular contributor to radio, newspapers and magazines, sharing my perspective on contemporary dressing and the relationship between clothes, confidence and everyday life.
I've always appreciated beautiful clothes, craftsmanship and individuality, but I don't believe a great wardrobe needs to be an extensive one. My philosophy is simple -buy once, buy well, understand what suits you and make the most of what you already own.
I practise what I preach. I love colour, the psychology behind it and the sense of armour and confidence my own wardrobe gives me. What I find most rewarding is helping others discover that same feeling, whether they're preparing for an important career moment or simply rediscovering the pleasure of getting dressed.
